Bethia joined Birketts in March 2023 and is an Associate in our agriculture and estates team. She is based in our Norwich office.
Bethia read European Law at the University of Warwick and graduated in 2014, having spent a year studying French Law at Université de Lille II and a further year studying German Law at Universität des Saarlandes as part of an integrated legal masters degree. She completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Cambridge in 2016 and trained at a local law firm, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2019.
After qualifying, Bethia specialised in the development sector and has considerable experience dealing with strategic land transactions. Bethia has acted for landowners, promoters and developers on both residential and commercial development projects including development agreements and site acquisitions and disposals.
Bethia undertakes a wide range of work within the agriculture and estates team acting for farmers, landowners, tenants and agri-businesses dealing with a diverse range of transactions relating to rural property. This includes acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters and general estate management such as first registrations of land, covenants and easements.
