Beverley Bell CBE offers high level practical advice and assistance on transport issues. She became the first female Traffic Commissioner in 2000 and in 2012 she was appointed as Senior Traffic Commissioner for Great Britain; she left the regulatory role in 2017.
Beverley was awarded the CBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list in 2017 for services to road safety and the freight industry. She chairs TH!NK LOGISTICS LTD whose aims and objectives are to promote the transport and logistics profession as a career of choice and to attract, retain and develop talent within that profession.
Having previously served as the President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) UK in 2015 to 2016, she remains a Vice President and a Fellow of the Institute. She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers (IRTE) and was honoured to be appointed the Patron of the Society of Operations Engineers in 2016. She is a Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry. Beverley also sat on the Advisory Board to the Cranfield University Faculty of Logistics & Transport.
