Recent work highlights
Acting for the deputy of a young adult with complex needs in respect of statutory Will proceedings. The matter was highly contentious and the estate significant following a clinical negligence award, however working with the other parties, including the Official Solicitor, Catherine successfully reached a resolution without the need for a court hearing.
Acting on behalf of concerned family members, Catherine applied to the Court of Protection seeking the removal of attorneys who had contravened their powers. Catherine successfully represented the family at a Dispute Resolution hearing and the case was settled in the family’s favour without the need for further protracted and costly proceedings.
