Cecily qualified as a Solicitor in September 2024 and works in the Private Client Advisory Team in the Ipswich office. Cecily assists with the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, as well as the administration of estates.
Cecily joined the firm in September 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor. Cecily completed training seats in the Private Client Advisory, Agriculture and Estates and Commercial Property teams.
Prior to joining Birketts, Cecily graduated from Durham University with a First Class degree in Classics, specialising in Ancient Greek tragedy. She subsequently completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Northumbria and the Legal Practice Course LLM at the University of Law, achieving a distinction on both courses. Her LPC electives were in Family, Employment, Private Client, and Advanced Real Estate.
