Chloe joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2024 and is currently in her first seat in the Agriculture and Estates Team, based in our Ipswich office.
Prior to joining Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor, Chloe gained experience as a Paralegal in the Commercial Real Estate Team in Cambridge, before going on to study the LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) with the University of Law.
At Birketts, Chloe supports fee-earners within the team on various matters for a range of different clients such as farmers, landowners, tenants and agri-businesses. Chloe assists with acquisitions and disposals of farms and estates, agricultural tenancies, succession planning and more general estate management matters such as registrations of land, covenants and easements.
Prior to joining Birketts, Chloe graduated from the University of East Anglia with an Honours Degree in Law and was the recipient of the Paul Head Memorial Scholarship for Social Sciences. As a scholar, Chloe participated in several events throughout her degree, delivered speeches to future scholars and built relationships with donors and alumni alike. Chloe volunteered with Street Law, educating students and the local community on various legal topics. She was also a member of the Law Society whereby she participated in negotiations and mooting, while developing her networking skills within the legal profession. Chloe volunteered with The Difference Campaign where she helped to raise money for Dementia Research and Prostate Cancer UK.
