
Eleanor joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2024.
She is currently in her third seat in the intellectual property team in Cambridge, assisting with a wide variety of commercial disputes.
Her first seat was with the employment team in our Cambridge office, where she assisted on a range of contentious and advisory matters including tribunal claims, settlement agreements, and creating and updating compliant staff policies. Her second seat was in the international private client team, working across our Cambridge and London offices, where she assisted in the preparation of Wills and LPAs and the provision of tax advice to cross-border clients.
Prior to joining Birketts, Eleanor studied Law at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. She then studied at the University of Law in Norwich to complete her SQE1&2 qualifications, gaining a Distinction. During her studies, Eleanor completed electives in Human Rights, Employment Law, Family Law and Private Wealth.
Eleanor has also gained experience working as an Executive and Administrative Assistant at a Christian law firm.
