
Ellie is a Trainee Solicitor, currently in her third seat in the Agriculture Team in our Cambridge office.
Ellie is involved in a broad range of property-related work, including various option agreements, the acquisition and disposal of agricultural land, tenancy agreements, internal family reorganisations for succession planning, and the drafting of partnership agreements.
Her first seat was with the Private Client Advisory Team in our Cambridge office. This involved work drafting Wills, preparing LPAs and assisting with administration of estates.
She completed her second seat with the Employment Team on a range of advisory and contentious matters.
Prior to joining Birketts, Ellie attended the University of Cambridge, graduating with a degree in Law. During her degree, Ellie studied at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid as part of the Erasmus programme, specialising in International Law.
She then studied the LLM Legal Practice (SQE 1 and 2) at the University of Law, gaining a Distinction.
During her LLM, Ellie completed electives in Employment Law, Intellectual Property, Family Law and Advanced Dispute Resolution. She also volunteered as part of the Employment Tribunal Support Service, hosting guidance sessions for litigants in person.
