Emily is an Associate in our employment team and is based in Ipswich.
Emily advises on a range of employment law matters, including disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence issues; restructures and redundancies; senior employee exits; and restrictive covenants and confidentiality obligations. Emily is also experienced in preparing employment contracts and consultancy agreements, and drafting settlement agreements.
She has particular experience advising on TUPE transfers within corporate transactions.
Emily also has experience handling employment tribunal proceedings.
Experience & education
Prior to qualification, Emily studied her undergraduate law degree at the University of Southampton, which involved spending one year on exchange at the University of Hong Kong, and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law achieving a Distinction.
Emily qualified as a Solicitor in the Employment team of a regional law firm in March 2020, having joined the firm as a Paralegal in October 2017.
