
Harriet joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2024.
She is currently in her third seat in the international family team in our London office.
Harriet’s first seat was with the commercial real estate team, where she gained experience in a wide variety of matters including Landlord & Tenant and sale and purchase work.
Harriet’s second seat was with the agriculture team, where she assisted with the sale and purchase of farms and estates, agricultural tenancies and succession planning. Harriet is also involved with the firm’s equine sector.
Experience & education
Harriet previously studied Theology at Durham University, achieving a 2:1 in her undergraduate degree. Harriet then completed the SQE Law Essentials course at The University of Law to convert to law before undertaking the LLM (SQE1&2) at The University of Law in Bloomsbury, achieving a distinction. She completed electives in Family, Employment, Immigration, Advanced Dispute Resolution and the Business of Law.
