
Jasmin joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in 2023 and has qualified into theEmployment Team as a Solicitor. She is based in our Chelmsford office.
Jasmin advises on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including TUPE, disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy processes, performance management, discrimination claims, and the negotiation of settlement agreements. Jasmin also regularly supports corporate transactions, advising on the employment aspects of sales, acquisitions and intra-group transfers. She assists with due diligence, reviewing and drafting employment contracts and policies, and advises on TUPE implications.
Experience & education
For her undergraduate degree, Jasmin studied Law at the University of Warwick, going on to complete the SQE with the University of Law (London, Moorgate). Jasmin completed electives in Mergers & Acquisitions, Employment, Intellectual Property, and International Trade Law as part of her Masters.
Prior to joining Birketts, Jasmin worked in Professional Regulation during which she managed the running of fitness to practise hearings.
