Lauren Barden-Williams

Lauren was recently part of a wider team which was instructed by a local authority on its acquisition of a newly constructed mixed use building for the sum of £55million.  This involved carrying out due diligence on the extensive construction package, negotiating construction provisions into the sale contract and reporting to the client throughout the transaction – at all times working to tight timescales.

Other notable highlights include assisting in connection with a scheme for the design and construction of a luxury hotel which the client was procuring via Construction Management.  As part of this, Lauren was responsible for preparing and negotiating draft consultant appointments, construction management trade contracts, reporting to the client on the key terms of the documentation, as well as liaising with key stakeholders to procure collateral warranties.
