Laurence Weeks is a lead Partner in Birketts LLP’s commercial dispute resolution team and restructuring and insolvency team.
Laurence specialises in the resolution of complex disputes. He has acted for a wide range of clients, on a domestic and international basis, in relation to claims with significant financial and strategic importance. He has particular experience in dealing with claims relating to contractual interpretation, professional negligence, corporate, banking, financial services, insolvency and fraud matters.
Laurence is closely involved in business development and team leadership at Birketts. He plays a key role in developing the firm’s dispute resolution offering, mentoring lawyers and building specialist sub‑teams within the practice.
Clients value Laurence for his clarity, responsiveness and ability to cut through complex issues to deliver focused, effective advice. He is known for providing practical solutions that align legal strategy with his clients’ wider commercial objectives.
