Leighann Baker joined Birketts commercial real estate team in 2015, specialising in the utilities team since 2021.
Leighann works with developers and utility statutory undertakers on all aspects of utilities infrastructure, delivering full support as part of a specialist legal team to clients involved in large commercial and residential developments. Transactions predominantly relate to the provision of electricity, gas, water and fibre networks to the development sites by way of freehold and leasehold acquisitions and Deeds of Easement.
Leighann provides expertise in advising IDNO’s (Independent Distribution Network Operators) and maintains strong communication with her clients to ensure the transactions complete within the projected timescales, which may vary considerably depending on the site.
