Liz Stevens

Liz Stevens joined Birketts in 2014 and is a Professional Support Lawyer in the firm’s employment team. She has over 26 years’ experience as an employment lawyer.

As a Professional Support Lawyer, Liz provides technical and strategic support to the employment team, helping to ensure the consistent delivery of high‑quality, practical and commercial advice in an area of law that is complex and fast‑moving.

Liz supports both colleagues and clients by tracking and analysing employment law developments and translating them into clear and accessible guidance. She writes regular client bulletins, press commentary and articles for publication. She coordinates and delivers internal training for the Employment Team and is responsible for preparing content for Birketts’ client seminars and conferences.

She also captures and maintains the team’s legal know‑how, including overseeing the employment team’s suite of precedent documentation and promoting effective knowledge‑sharing across the firm. Liz works closely with Professional Support Lawyer colleagues in other practice areas as part of Birketts’ wider knowledge management function, contributing to firm‑wide initiatives.
