Liz Stevens

Liz joined Birketts in 2014 as a Professional Support Lawyer in our Employment Team and has over 24 years’ experience as an employment lawyer.

Her role as a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) means that Liz provides technical legal support to the Employment Team, helping to ensure consistent delivery of high quality and commercial legal advice in an area of law that is complex and often very fast-moving. 

Liz’s role includes assisting both colleagues and clients in keeping track of employment law developments, writing regular client bulletins and articles. She coordinates and delivers internal team training sessions as well as designing and preparing materials for our regular client seminars and conferences.

Liz is also responsible for capturing internal legal ‘knowhow’, maintaining the team’s suite of precedent employment documentation and ensuring sharing of knowledge and expertise within the employment team and across the Birketts offices. Liz works closely alongside her PSL colleagues from other legal disciplines within our knowledge management team, together coordinating various firm-wide initiatives.
