Lorna Townsend
Lorna joined Birketts in 2015 and heads up Birketts’ Workplace Investigations Team.
She brings to the role fifteen years’ experience as a practising employment law solicitor. Lorna has also worked for international City law firms in London and abroad, as well as in-house for a major PLC in East Anglia.
Lorna has extensive experience of dealing with complex and sensitive grievance and disciplinary investigations, often involving allegations of discrimination. Lorna inspires trust and confidence in all parties involved. She is able to analyse complex and conflicting evidence, and to distil the issues into clear, comprehensive and accessible reports.
Lorna brings common sense and sound judgment to the matters she investigates, as well as a calm and approachable manner.
