Recent work highlights
Transfer of land to the church
I acted for clients following the sale of a family home after their father’s passing. A parcel of unregistered land adjoining a churchyard was retained, and I advised on and completed the transfer of the land to the church by way of gift.
Transfer of beneficial ownership to trustees and first registration
I advised on the transfer of a deceased’s 50% share in an unregistered property to trustees in accordance with the terms of the will. The matter involved a first registration at HM Land Registry and coordination with our private client team, who were administering the associated will trust and registering it with the Trust Registration Service.
