Millie Jay

Millie is a Solicitor Apprentice at Birketts and is currently training within the Residential Real Estate Team.

She started her career in 2021, joining the firm straight after finishing her A levels. During her 6 year apprenticeship with the University of Law, she will gain her law degree before moving on to completing the SQE.

Millie has experience in various different roles within the Residential Real Estate team such as a completions assistant, legal assistant and has now advanced to having her own case load. She has experience acting in real estate sales, purchases, transfers, first registrations, re-mortgages as well as a variety of other real estate matters.

In addition to her own case load, Millie works closely in assisting other fee earners within the team with their matters. She also works closely within other department within the firm; particularly the private client team in matters connected to probate. She strives to meet deadlines and keep her clients informed on the progress of their transaction.

Millie is based in our Ipswich office.
