Natasha is a Solicitor in our Family Team.

She qualified in September 2023 after completing her training contract at Birketts.

Natasha has experience of advising clients on a range of issues, including divorce and civil partnership dissolution and the financial issues arising from divorce and civil partnership dissolution. As well as financial matters, Natasha has experience in dealing with complex private children cases, including those with in which there have been allegations of serious domestic abuse and parental alienation.

She also deals with surrogacy, private adoption matters, declarations of parentage, as well as platonic co-parenting arrangements.

Natasha aims to resolve issues in the most cost-effective manner possible and will always try to resolve a case at the earliest possible opportunity, including utilising methods of Non-Court Dispute Resolution where appropriate. However, in cases where it is simply not possible to resolve matters by agreement, Natasha is a robust litigator.

Natasha has a background working in Government policy at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and the Department for Education. Natasha volunteers with Lighthouse Women’s Aid, the Anglia Ruskin Law Clinic, Suffolk Law Centre and Chelmsford Citizens Advice, providing legal advice on a pro-bono basis to help local people and vulnerable women tackle their legal challenges. Natasha also volunteers for Barnardo’s as an Independent Visitor to a looked-after child and is the Law Clinics Liaison Officer for the Suffolk & Norfolk Essex Law Society. Along with a couple of peers, Natasha designed and developed an annual work experience scheme at Birketts which aims to improve social mobility within the legal profession.
