Quentin is a Partner in our Commercial and Technology Team.

He advises clients on a wide range of commercial and intellectual property matters, including research and development agreements, distribution and agency contracts, IP licensing, joint ventures, supplies of goods and services, software licensing and maintenance agreements, and software as a service arrangements. Quentin also advises early stage technology clients in relation to business angel and venture capital funding.

Quentin’s practice focuses particularly on the digital and life sciences sectors, with a considerable amount of his work involving cross border transactions.

Quentin is recommended and named as a ‘Leading Partner’ by Legal 500 [UK 2025] for his corporate and commercial and IT and telecommunications work. He is also ranked by Chambers [UK 2025].

Recent work highlights

Advising a substantial building materials supplier on a multi-year logistics contract with a UK transport company for the delivery of supplies to its UK customers.

Advising a UK based cleantech company on the licensing of its IP, and the provision of related services, in relation to the design and construction of plants for the production of bio-friendly fertiliser, and the resulting supply of fertiliser to third party customers.

Negotiating and drafting a master services agreement for the development and supply of certain gene delivery solutions from a US based supplier to a UK life sciences client.

Experience & education

Quentin qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in March 1999.

Quentin is dual qualified, in New Zealand and England, and previously worked for one of New Zealand’s largest law firms. He holds a BA, LLB, LLM (Hons) all from Victoria University, Wellington, NZ and a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice from the University of Bristol.
