
Rachel joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2023.
Rachel is currently in her fourth and final seat in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team in the Chelmsford office. She assists the team on a range of litigation issues, including insolvency advice, breach of warranties claims, regulatory issues, internal and external debt recovery work and applications to the Court.
Rachel’s third seat was with the Regulatory and Corporate Defence Team, based in our Ipswich office, where she assisted on a broad range of areas including: Corporate and Regulatory Crime, Health and Safety, Environmental Crime, Fatality and Serious Injury work, Financial Crime, License Applications, Public Inquiry and Inquests, Building and Fire Safety, General Crime (Magistrates or Crown Court), Transport and Logistics. She spent a lot of time attending Courts and aiding with the drafting of advice notes for clients.
Rachel’s r second seat was with the Corporate Team, based in our Chelmsford office, where she assisted the team on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings and general company law issues.
Rachel’s first seat was with the Real Estate Finance Team, part of the wider Commercial Property Team based in our Norwich office. Her role involved managing an array of transactional matters in respect of secured lending. Such transactions include the refinance or purchase of commercial, semi commercial or Buy to Let properties.
