Reggie Singh
Reggie is a Costs Draftsperson Paralegal in our Ipswich office. His role within the Costs Team involves supporting the litigation department with the drafting of Statements of Costs (N260s), analysing Bills of Costs, and producing budgets (precedent H) under the supervision of Melanie Bonté and Sarah Burwood. He is currently dealing with cases regarding social housing disrepair claims due to the drastic rise in the level of claims over the past few years.
Prior to joining the Costs Team, Reggie had joined the Ipswich Office as an Administrator working in the Charities Team in October 2023 . He then progressed to his current Paralegal role within the Costs Team. He hopes to progress his career further and qualify as a Solicitor in the near future.
Reggie completed his LLB Law Degree with the University of Essex in 2022 and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) alongside an MSC in Law, Business and Management with the University of Law (UEA Campus) in 2023.
Reggie’s dissertation during his LLB Law Degree explored the allocation of property rights for unmarried couples and whether the case of Jones v Kernott has provided clarity on the matter. For his dissertation during the LPC, Reggie explored whether remote working arrangements in the Legal Sector ‘can work’. This topic was of particular interest to Reggie as he is keen to progress his career in the Legal Sector and wanted to explore whether remote working arrangements in law firms ‘can work’ – since this has become the norm following the Covid-19 pandemic.
