Richard is a Legal Director in our Construction & Engineering Team and is based in our London office.
Richard joined Birketts having previously worked with a number of international and national firms, as a consultant and as in-house counsel to multinational plcs.
A disputes specialist, Richard qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 and obtained higher rights of audience as a Solicitor-Advocate in 2019. Richard has experience across all forms of disputes resolution, having acted for clients in TCC litigation, adjudication and at arbitration (both domestically and internationally). An accredited mediator, Richard is adept at representing clients at mediation and at helping find solutions to disputes that avoid the time and cost of protracted litigation.
