Zach Plunkett

Zach joined Birketts in June 2023.

He is a Graduate Solicitor Apprentice in our Social Housing Team, based in our Norwich office. He handles a variety of landlord and tenant disputes for housing association and local authority clients, including:

• Assisting and defending disrepair claims.
• Managing possession or forfeiture claims.
• Supporting organisations with ASB and access injunctions.
• Assisting with the recovery of rent and service charge arrears.
• Providing general advice on repairing covenants and other obligations.

In 2022, Zach graduated from the University of Brighton with a First-Class Honours degree in Law. Since then, he worked as a Paralegal on an eDiscovery process for a public inquiry.

Zach is currently undertaking a Level 7 Legal apprenticeship at Birketts, studying part-time for an LLM in Legal Practice (SQE 1&2) with the University of Law in London. Once he has completed the two-year apprenticeship programme, and passes the SQE, he will qualify as a Solicitor.
