Birketts is one of three firms appointed by the Department of Education to provide independent legal advisers to the Teaching Regulation Agency’s professional conduct panels. This appointment provides us with valuable insight into the working of the Teaching Regulation Agency and also requires our team of legal advisers to regularly advise professional conduct panels on key issues that arise, such as safeguarding, the prevent duty and all aspects of teacher misconduct.
