This course provides delegates with an understanding of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations including the changes that were introduced in 2015. Delegates will learn how these changes differ from the traditional CDM provisions, together with the potential issues arising from these changes. 


This course is particularly suited to contractors and architects who carry out roles as principal contractor and principal designer, and is also of use to all involved in instructing construction operations. 

Course outline

This course examines the 2015 changes to the CDM regulations and summarises the stakeholder duties of clients and principal developers/contractors. The course then covers the practical considerations and potential issues that may arise from the new regulations and how they differ from traditional CDM provisions.
