Stefan Harris-Wright
Stefan is Head of our Construction and Engineering Team and is based in our Cambridge office.
Stefan has a wide range of experience working on non-contentious construction matters. He acts for a variety of both public and private sector clients, including further and higher education colleges, academies, local authorities and NHS Trusts, as well as funders, developers, contractors, sub-contractors and consultants. He advises on industry standard form contracts (such as JCT, ICE, NEC, GC/Works, IchemE, PPC2000, ACE, RIBA, RICS etc), as well as regularly preparing and advising on bespoke forms of contract.
Stefan is experienced in advising on energy and infrastructure projects, with particular interests in schemes relating to anaerobic digestion and biogas, battery storage, EV charging, hydrogen, nuclear, onshore wind, private utilities connections and solar.
Stefan also has a specialism in acting for both borrowers and lenders on the construction aspects of real estate finance transactions.
Recent work highlights
Advising Future Biogas in relation to the various ‘construction management’ contracts for the design and construction of a new build anaerobic digestion and biogas plant at Gonerby Moor, Lincolnshire.
Advising Bathurst Development Limited in relation to the suite of construction documentation for design and installation of infrastructure related to the ‘Steadings’ residential development of over 2000 homes on 300 acres outside Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
Advising the large private utilities contractor, Power On Connections, in relation to the contracts for installation of ‘last mile’ infrastructure related to various residential and commercial development projects.
