This course provides delegates with an overview of the different types of claim that arise in the construction industry. Delegates will also gain an understanding of the key issues which occur in supply chain claims and how these claims are both brought and defended.
Audience
This course is particularly suited to contractors and sub-contractors but is useful for any party that is involved in dealing with construction claims and disputes.
Course outline
The course begins with an explanation of the different types of construction claim including extension of time claims, loss and/or expense claims, disruption claims, claims for payment (interim and final) and defects claims. It then looks at claims within the supply chain and how to successfully bring and defend such claims.
