This course looks at the key clauses in construction contracts to give delegates an understanding of why such clauses are important and when they should be utilised.
This course is particularly suited to contractors and sub-contractors, but is useful for any party that is involved in negotiating, operating or otherwise dealing with construction contracts.
The course begins with an overview of condition precedent clauses and what the current case law position is. The course will then address other issues that arise out of construction contracts and what delegates should be aware of before agreeing to a construction contract. These issues include mistake, misrepresentation, assignment and novation, practical completion, delay, damages and loss and/or expense.
