Andrea Bailiss

Andrea qualified as a Solicitor in our Commercial Real Estate Team in September 2020 and is based in our Norwich office. She joined Birketts in September 2018 as a Trainee Solicitor, where she completed seats with our Commercial Property Team, our Property Litigation Team and our Employment Team in our Ipswich office and our Commercial Property Team in our Norwich office.
Andrea advises on all aspects of commercial property law, including advising both landlords and tenants in relation to a range of leasehold matters and advising on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property. She has experience acting for both corporate and individual clients, including large real estate investment clients.
Andrea graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2017 with a 2:1 in Law. She then went on to achieve a distinction in the Legal Practice Course which she studied at BPP University in Cambridge, studying electives in Advance Commercial Property, Employment Law and Commercial Law and Intellectual Property. During her time at university, Andrea took part in a number of volunteer and pro-bono activities such as volunteering with the Norfolk Community Law Service, the Innocence Project and street law.
Outside of work, Andrea is teaching herself to play the piano. Her favourite ways to spend her free time include going to the theatre, hiking and most recently, roller skating.
