Anna joined Birketts in September 2015 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified as a Solicitor into the Private Wealth Disputes Team in our Norwich office in September 2017. She became an Associate in October 2020 and a Senior Associate in October 2023.

Anna specialises in contentious trusts and probate matters and can assist and advise in the following areas:

  1. Claims for provision from an estate under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
  2. Claims arising from allegations of undue influence, lack of testamentary capacity and/or want of knowledge and approval in connection with the preparation and execution of a Will.
  3. Disputes between beneficiaries and executors as to the administration of an estate.
  4. Contentious trust matters.

Anna is committed to providing practical and cost-effective advice to her clients. She has significant experience with alternative dispute resolution and has resolved numerous disputes using mediation and other forms of negotiation.

Anna works closely with both our private client and specialist Court of Protection teams to provide a seamless service to clients facing disputes around private wealth, succession planning and capacity.

Anna is an Associate Member of The Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and ConTrA (Contentious Trust Association).

Anna is on maternity leave.

Anna studied Law at the University of East Anglia and subsequently completed her Legal Practice Course.

Anna was named ‘NNLS Trainee Lawyer of the Year’ at the Norfolk and Norwich Law Society Awards 2017.
