Carole has extensive legal experience spanning over 35 years and has always worked within the legal field. Carole joined Birketts Corporate Team in 1995 as a Secretary and subsequently became a Personal Assistant. She became a Paralegal in 2016.
Carole provides support generally to the Ipswich Corporate Team and assists with a wide variety of corporate matters.
Carole deals with company incorporations, including companies limited by shares and by guarantee, and deals with maintaining the statutory records for various estate management companies used by property developer clients. She also assists the Charities Team with incorporating companies which are to apply for charitable status.
Carole provides a company secretarial and registered office service to a number of clients, including some overseas clients with UK subsidiaries. Carole produces minutes and resolutions and other ancillary documentation for various transactions, and deals with post-completion filings at Companies House and arranging stamping formalities with HMRC.
Carole’s work involves new incorporations, changes of company name, changes to capital and officers, compliance matters including the preparation of PSC Registers, Confirmation Statements and dormant accounts, share allotments and transfers, the registration and discharge of mortgages and also the creation and maintenance of statutory books. Carole also deals with reconstituting statutory books for clients who have lost their originals records.
