Flora joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2022.
Currently based in the Cambridge office, Flora is in her third seat with the Employment Team. This involves a mix of both contentious and non-contentious employment law work, from drafting contracts to attending Employment Tribunal hearings.
Flora’s previous seat was with the Commercial Property SIPPs Team where she carried out work on Freehold and Leasehold acquisitions and disposals, Searches and Title Investigations and in specie transfers. Her first seat was with the Commercial Litigation Team in Cambridge. This included helping clients work towards dispute resolution in a variety of different areas. Flora helped clients with claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 in relation to Contentious Trusts and Probate matters, as well as advising commercial clients in relation to insolvency and the recovery of unpaid loans.
Prior to joining Birketts, Flora graduated with a 1st in Politics and International Relations from Loughborough University. Flora then completed a British Council Internship working as a paralegal for an International law firm in China. Flora subsequently converted to law, obtaining a distinction on the LPC at BPP Cambridge. Flora’s electives on the LPC were Advanced Commercial Litigation, Advanced Commercial Property and Employment Law
