Gaynor Smith

Gaynor qualified as a Solicitor in February 2016 and joined Birketts in July 2019. She is an Associate in our Residential Property Team and has almost seven years’ experience dealing with residential property matters.

Gaynor specialises in new build purchases but also continues to represent clients in various aspects of property law.

Prior to joining Birketts Gaynor was a Solicitor at a local firm dealing with a vast array of property transactions including but not limited to sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, assents, granting and extending leases. Gaynor is also experienced in various shared ownership and Help to Buy schemes.

Gaynor is based in our Norwich office.

Prior to qualifying as a Solicitor, Gaynor read Law at De Montfort University and later attended the University of Law (Birmingham) to undertake the Legal Practice Course. In-between education, Gaynor took four years out to obtain business and management experience, giving her the requisite practical skills to pursue a career in law.
