Georgia Harris

Georgia joined Birketts in September 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor. She is currently in her third seat and is working within the Corporate Team in Chelmsford. She assists the team on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings and general company law issues.

Georgia’s previous seats were in the Commercial Property Team in our Ipswich office and the Social Housing Team in our London office.  She has worked on a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters and has assisted with drafting and reviewing transactional documents between landlord and tenant.

Prior to joining Birketts, Georgia studied a degree in LLB Law at the University of Bristol, graduating in 2021 with a 2.1. Following this she went on to study the Legal Practice Course at the University of Westminster with electives in Employment, Private Acquisitions and Commercial Law, graduating in 2022 with a Distinction.
