Hannah Meara

Hannah qualified as a Solicitor in March 2021. She sits in our Commercial Real Estate Team in the Ipswich office. Hannah undertakes a variety of commercial property work and has experience acting for both landlord and tenant clients in leasehold transactions and both seller and buyer clients in freehold transactions.
Hannah joined Birketts in July 2016 as a Paralegal in our Commercial Property Utilities Team. Hannah’s core practice involved transactions relating to gas, electricity, fibre and water infrastructure for residential and commercial developments across the country.
Hannah began her training contract in September 2019 taking her first seat with our Private Client Advisory Team in the Cambridge office. Hannah assisted with a range of matters, including the drafting of Wills, Powers of Attorney, succession and tax planning and the administration of estates. Hannah’s second seat was with our Commercial Property Team in the Ipswich office. Hannah assisted with landlord and tenant transactions, corporate acquisitions and assisted both seller and buyer clients in freehold transactions. Hannah’s final seat was with our Employment Team, where Hannah assisted with both contentious and non-contentious work.
Hannah is on maternity leave.
Hannah completed her LLB Law degree at the University of Surrey in 2014. Hannah then went on to achieve a distinction in the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Cambridge in 2019. She undertook modules in Employment Law, Family Law and Advanced Commercial Property.
