Laura advises clients on a range of corporate matters including mergers, acquisitions, disposals and group restructures. She also advises on general corporate matters such as the incorporation of companies, directors’ and shareholders’ rights, articles of association, board meetings and transfer of shares.
Prior to joining Birketts, Laura was a Trainee Solicitor at a regional Legal 500 law firm, where she undertook seats in Employment, Commercial Property, Corporate and Commercial law. Laura also has in-house legal experience, working in the legal department of a global technology company, where she specialised in drafting and negotiating supplier and marketing agreements and advised stakeholders on complex commercial matters.
Laura graduated from Newcastle University in 2016 with a 2:1 in Law. She then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at BPP University Cambridge, graduating in 2018.
Laura is an advocate for mental health and wellbeing and she qualified as a Mental Health First Aider in 2019.
