Leighann joined the firm in November 2015, and is currently a Paralegal in the firm’s Utilities Team. Leighann provides legal services to a utility infrastructure client, advising their specialist Land Rights Team in order to secure a wide range of utility connections to sites across the UK, along with land acquisitions for the siting of electrical substations, gas governors, water pumping stations and fibre broadband cabinets. 

Leighann provides assistance to and works as part of a dedicated utilities legal team delivering full support to the client and their customers which include large residential and commercial developers, often having to meet strict electricity, gas, water and fibre broadband connection deadlines.

Leighann is a CILEX Associate Paralegal having received her Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice (ACILEX). Leighann is currently studying her Level 6 Diploma to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive.

When not spending her time studying, Leighann enjoys going to the gym, drawing and painting, walking the dog and cake decorating.  

Leighann has been involved in community projects such as painting the Gannon Rooms Community Hall, attending the Mayor’s Annual Charity Quiz and fundraising at local events. Leighann is currently working on her own project to raise money for EACH, and hopes her contribution will assist the firm in achieving their annual charity fundraising target.
