Rachel Baldeo

Rachel joined Birketts in March 2022. She is a Senior Paralegal in our property department and works in the Housebuilder Team. Rachel deals with a variety of social housing matters for housing association and local authority clients;
- Single unit acquisitions and disposals.
- Deed of Variation.
- Right to Buy/Right to Acquire.
- Interim and Final Staircasing.
- Shared ownership plot sales.
Rachel is based in our Norwich office.
Prior to joining Birketts Rachel has worked for a number of Norwich based law firms within the Residential Conveyancing Teams. Rachel has experience in acting for both lenders and individuals covering all areas of residential conveyancing including Freehold and Leasehold Properties in both sale and purchase matters. She has also assisted clients with Help to Buy, Declaration of Trust and Transfer of equity transactions.
Rachel attended London Metropolitan University where she graduated with an LLB in Law. She later went on to study at Cilex Law School to complete her practical legal qualification Cilex course in 2018 and graduated as a GCILEX member.
