Sam Haldane

Sam was admitted as a Solicitor in 2016 and joined Birketts in September 2021. 

Sam previously worked for a leading regional firm and was regularly instructed to prosecute on behalf of the Health and Safety Executive for all manner of offences including a number of fatalities. He is regularly instructed to act for Police Officers facing criminal and disciplinary proceedings and is accredited to provide training in respect of Post Incident Procedures. 

He frequently appears at Court and the Police Station to represent individuals facing all manner of allegations and charges. Sam is an experienced advocate and conducts his own advocacy at Magistrates’ Courts. 

Clients can be assured of a pro-active and strategic approach from the outset.

Sam is based in our Ipswich office. 

Outside of work he enjoys socialising, keeping fit and playing golf.
