UK Top 50 law firm, Birketts, has launched a free training course for charity trustees.
Birketts’ Charity Trustee Induction and Refresher Training provides both new and experienced charity trustees with essential legal training to enable them to comply with law and best practice in fulfilling their duties and furthering the success of their charity.
Created in response to feedback from Birketts’ charity clients, the course has been designed to be as flexible and user-friendly as possible. The series of bitesize on-demand webinar modules can be incorporated into any charity’s trustee induction programme, and revisited as part of refresher training as and when required.
On the launch of the new free training course, Liz Brownsell, Partner and Head of Charities at Birketts, said: “For a number of years, we have delivered our charity trustee training as in-person or virtual workshops on specific dates throughout the year. But recent feedback told us that charities were looking for a more flexible solution to complement their internal induction programmes.
