Nick McKnight joins Birketts’ Property Litigation Team

UK Top 50 law firm Birketts is pleased to announce the arrival of Nick McKnight as a Legal Director into its Property Litigation Team.
Nick has practiced in the South East for 16 years, joining Birketts from Warners Solicitors, and was previously with Batchelors for many years. He deals with all nature of property disputes, though has particular expertise in residential landlord and tenant matters, dealing with disputes arising out of all residential occupancy regimes, including assured shorthold, assured non-shorthold, Rent Act regulated, leasehold and high-value rentals which exceed the financial threshold for the assured regime. In respect of commercial lettings Nick acts for both landlords and tenants on matters such as the procedure for lease renewal (opposed and unopposed), breach of covenant and forfeiture.
