Prior to joining Birketts Amber graduated from Anglia Ruskin University where she achieved a 2:1 in Criminology. She went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at BPP University Cambridge where she achieved a commendation. Amber’s final year of studying the Legal Practice Course (LPC) was also at BPP University Cambridge where she received a distinction and completed electives in Employment Law, Family Law and Private Acquisitions.
Amber took part in a number of volunteering and pro-bono activities. She took part in the Street Law Project where she delivered presentations on peoples civil rights including the homeless and prisoners. She also took part in The Tribunal Service and assisted members of the public during tribunals in the County Court. She took part in the Employment Law Telephone Advice Line which consisted of taking calls from members of the public that were passed on to Citizens Advice Bureau.
Amber plays outdoor bowls for Abbey Bowls Club (BC) as well as representing Cambridgeshire in county games. She has played each year in the national finals at Leamington Spa since 2014. She was also shortlisted on the reserve list for a Bowls England junior international trial in 2018.
