Experience

Roger has been a part of the Construction and Engineering Team since August 2016, as a Paralegal and Trainee Solicitor, before qualifying as a Solicitor in March 2019.

Roger advises main contractors and sub-contractors on non-contentious construction matters, including reviewing, advising, and negotiating the terms of both standard form (such as JCT and NEC) and bespoke contracts.

Roger has experience with acting in adjudications concerning a range of contentious construction matters, including the recovery of interim/final payments, valuations of final accounts and defects. Roger has also been involved in claims in the County Court and Technology and Construction Court and is able to provide advice on different forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Other Information

Roger studied for his Legal Practice Course at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) where he completed electives in Commercial Dispute Resolution, Employment Law and Private Client. Before this, he gained a 2:1 Law degree, also from ARU.

Outside of work, Roger has a passion for cars, and enjoys attending car shows. Roger is also interested in Formula One, technology and travelling.
