Abi is an Associate (Chartered Legal Executive) who qualified in November 2018 having worked in a legal environment since 2011. Abigail joined Birketts in August 2022.
Abigail provides specialist advice to both employers and employees on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious issues including:
- Employment tribunals claims including unfair dismissal, discrimination, holiday pay, wages claims, whistleblowing and constructive unfair dismissal.
- Large scale redundancy and restructuring.
- Employment contracts, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks and policies.
- Disciplinary, grievance, performance and sickness absence issues.
- Day to day support in employee relations and workplace disputes.
- Settlement agreements and exit negotiations.
- Advice on restrictive covenants.
Abigail prides herself on her pragmatic approach to workplace issues and provides tailored advice to meet the specific needs and demands of her clients.
Abigail recently earned her master’s degree in Employment Law and Practice from De Montfort University.
Abigail is based at our Cambridge office.
