Alex Schaafsma joined Birketts in 2017 and leads our Banking and Finance Practice.
Alex has a broad range of banking and finance experience – including (but not limited to) advising clients on leverage finance, acquisition finance, trade finance, real estate finance, funds lending, Islamic finance and general conventional lending. Alex advises both borrowers and lenders, and has extensive experience in advising on LMA documentation, as well as bespoke financing arrangements.
