Anastasia Whitlock

Anastasia joined Birketts in October 2021 and is a Senior Associate in the corporate team in our London office.

Described by clients as demonstrating ‘accomplished skills with a personal approach’, ‘showing commercial awareness’ and ‘anchor on the transactional side’, Anastasia has experience on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, company re-organisations, management buy-outs, advising on shareholder agreements and articles of association and external investment funding.

Anastasia has a particular focus on the hospitality and leisure sector and works with an array of businesses in this sector including pub companies, breweries and hotels.

Recent work highlights

Assisted on the sale of a company which owns purpose built student accommodation to a buyer incorporated in the BVI. The deal was backed by warranty and indemnity insurance and had a deal value of approximately £24million.

Advised a multi-site hotel and pub operator on a share purchase to acquire a hotel to its portfolio with a deal value of approximately £5million.

Advised on the reorganisation and refinance of the group structure of an operator in the hospitality and leisure sector. The refinance package was approximately £20 million.

Advised an operator in the hospitality and leisure sector on its purchase of the business and assets of two gastropubs with accommodation with a deal value of approximately £4.5million.

Advised Verve Group Limited on the off-market sale of Bedford Heights, a prominent business centre in Bedford, to Sirius Real Estate for more than £15 million.
