Ayesha Rohale


Ayesha joined Birketts in March 2024 as a Solicitor in our Social Housing Team. She is based in our Cambridge office.

Ayesha legal practice covers a broad spectrum of contentious issues within social housing, including possession disputes, instances of anti-social behavior, property disrepair, and considerations related to the Equality Duty under the 2010 Act and the Environmental Act 1990.

Previously, she played an active role in managing complaints and ensuring compliance with disclosure requirements, particularly 6.2, on behalf of local authorities to prevent any breaches. She has also worked closely with both in-house solicitors and external legal firms on disrepair cases.

Additionally, she has acquired valuable experience in residential conveyancing, addressing various client queries to uphold their best interests.

Ayesha completed her LLB in 2013, followed by an LLM from Queen Mary University London in 2014, and then an LPC in 2015. In 2024, she completed her PSC course exams. Additionally, Ayesha pursued two vocational courses: Counselling Children and Adolescents, Level 4 ABC, and Child Psychology Diploma Level 4, NCFE.

Alongside her legal career, she has been elected three times as a District Councillor, advocating for the vulnerable in our society.
