Cara Chambers qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2017, with extensive experience in legal practice. She obtained additional Conveyancing Practice Rights in 2023, demonstrating advanced expertise and authorisation to undertake reserved legal activities in this area.

With over 25 years of experience in property work, Cara has acted for numerous National House Builders and Registered Social Landlords. Her expertise spans both purchase and sale transactions, including part exchange arrangements. She has also supported overseas property exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Singapore, and acted for both UK and international banks. Cara is also on recommended panels for several developers to act for purchasers on their developments. She has in depth knowledge of government backed buyer assistance schemes such as the First Time Buyers Initiative, London Wide Initiative, Home Buy Direct, First Buy, Help to Buy, and the First Homes Scheme having also dealt with many Forces Help to Buy, Help to Buy ISA, and Lifetime ISA draw downs. 
 
In addition, Cara acts for local authorities across the UK, advising on the acquisition and buyback of properties for temporary accommodation and relocation programmes. Her wider experience includes a complex caseload including high value newbuild matters, local authority acquisitions, ecclesiastical and unique title structures, share of freehold matters, assignments of newbuild units, remortgages, transfers of equity, buy to let, and standard freehold and leasehold work.  

Recent work highlights

A recent highlight includes leading on a Local Authority’s bulk acquisition of 18 units for £5,000,000 via a hybrid residential commercial structure which was a complex, high pressure project delivered to tight deadlines.
