Catherine Hodds

Catherine Hodds is a HR Consultant with more than 30 years’ experience of advising on the design and implementation of major strategic HR programmes in the UK and internationally.

She works closely with our Employment Team to provide strategic and operational HR consulting services to our clients across a range of disciplines and sectors.

In the course of her professional career, Catherine has been involved in all aspects of Human Resources with skills and expertise across a full range of people focused areas including developing and implementing HR strategy, leadership development, coaching, ED&I, culture change and transformation. She has also guided clients through complex operational projects, including collective consultations and restructurings.

Catherine has wide ranging sector experience, including financial institutions, social housing, energy and infrastructure, bio sciences, charities and public sector, from start-ups to global organisations.

Catherine regularly designs and delivers training to clients on a range of strategic HR topics, with a particular focus on employee engagement, well-being, EDI and transformation. She is also qualified to deliver insights discovery training.

Prior to joining Birketts in 2022, Catherine worked inhouse in London and Luxembourg for a number of major financial institutions, including Robert Fleming, Fleming Fund Management, JPMorgan, Barclays Capital and Barclays Wealth. More recently, she has held C-suite level HR roles for Circle Housing (now Clarion), Saffron Housing and Acteon Group.
