
Chloe joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2024 and is currently undertaking her second seat with the Corporate Team in Ipswich.
Chloe assists the team on a range of corporate matters, including share and asset disposals and acquisitions, re-organisations, and general company law matters.
Chloe’s first seat was in the Agriculture and Estates Team, where she worked on various matters for a range of different clients such as farmers, landowners, tenants and agri-businesses. Chloe assisted with acquisitions and disposals of farms and estates, agricultural tenancies, succession planning and more general estate management matters.
Prior to joining commencing her training contract, Chloe gained experience as a Paralegal in the Commercial Real Estate Team in Cambridge, before going on to study the LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) with the University of Law.
Chloe graduated from the University of East Anglia with an Honours Degree in Law and was the recipient of the Paul Head Memorial Scholarship for Social Sciences. As a scholar, Chloe participated in several events throughout her degree, delivered presentations to future scholars and built relationships with donors and alumni alike. Chloe regularly volunteered with Street Law, whereby she educated students and the local community on various legal topics. Chloe was also a member of the Law Society and participated in negotiations and mooting, while developing her networking skills within the legal profession.
